DDR4 & DDR3 COMPONENTS & MODULES
DDR4
Last year, IM expanded its DDR4 portfolio with the launch of 16Gb & 32Gb DRAM components. Available in both commercial and industrial temperature ranges, these components are designed for demanding applications. The DDR4 32Gb offers x16 (1CS) and x8 (2CS) configurations, delivering exceptional reliability and longevity support. Due to the current market, these will only be available again starting Q3 of 2026. This also means that our 32GB DDR4 modules will have healthier supply availability starting Q3 2026 as well.
Currently available now are our 4Gb and 8Gb DDR4 components and our 8GB and 16GB DDR4 modules.
DDR3
In the semiconductor memory industry, often when veterans think about DDR3, they think of IM. Why? Because although IM did not pioneer the silicon, we have been among the major companies ensuring ongoing access and lifecycle support for popular DDR3 (DDP) capacities in industrial applications.
With that said, we currently have access to available stock of 2Gb, 4Gb, and 8Gb DDR3 components, which means we can produce 4GB and 8GB DDR3 modules (amongst other capacities).
LONGEVITY SD & uSD CARDS
Intelligent Memory developed its SD solutions specifically for embedded and industrial applications that prioritize data reliability and long service life over high storage densities. Accordingly, IM’s SD and microSD cards utilize SLC (Single-Level Cell) NAND flash rated for up to 60,000 program/erase cycles, delivering the endurance required for industrial-grade storage. With industrial temperature ratings, they are well suited for medical devices, data loggers, digital signage, industrial and machine vision cameras, and Raspberry Pi- and Arduino-based industrial systems.
“For industrial customers navigating the 2026 memory supply constraints, IM’s SD card portfolio provides a dependable source of supply and continuity,” said Alistair Jones, Global Director Sales & Marketing at Intelligent Memory. “Regardless of current market conditions, baseline flash products are steadily disappearing, making long-term availability an increasingly important competitive factor for OEMs.”
SD and microSD cards in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB capacities are available now for global shipment. Additional densities are offered, although they may be subject to lead times.
IMORIGINAL & IMSELECT
IMOriginal & IMSelect
IM provides two lines of DRAM Modules, allowing for more flexibility and customization:
- IMOriginal modules which utilize exclusively IM’s own quality components
- IMSelect modules which can be configured with various third-party components
While our IMOriginal DRAM module range comes in a range of formfactors, features and temperature ranges, there are cases in specialized environments, when these modules are not the perfect fit. That’s why we built on our heritage as a design house and introduced a product range that is based on meticulously chosen DRAM components from external memory suppliers. With our new IMSelect range we address the current gaps in the industrial and embedded markets and we can proudly say that IM now provides the most extensive DRAM module selection in the industry.

MANAGED NAND FLASH eMMC
As many memory manufacturers phase out their eMMC product lines, Intelligent Memory, a manufacturer of industrial-grade memory solutions, is introducing a new low-density eMMC family. The devices will be available in 8GB and 16GB capacities, offered in a 153-ball BGA package, and are designed for industrial environments where stability, long product lifecycles, and appropriately sized storage are essential.
Although some suppliers are exiting the segment, eMMC continues to play a critical role in numerous embedded and industrial applications, including industrial control systems, factory automation, medical equipment, IoT gateways, smart devices, and automotive electronics. These use cases prioritize durability, consistency, and long-term availability over high storage capacity.
With this addition, Intelligent Memory aims to maintain reliable storage options for industrial customers. For designs requiring greater capacity, the company also provides higher-density alternatives, including a 64GB eMMC currently available from stock. Together, these offerings support industrial customers in sustaining and future-proofing their eMMC-based designs.
